South End Motors: From Simple Vision to Expansion
In 2020, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Harminder, South End Motors’ owner, took a bold step by purchasing his first shop in Island Bay.
Recognizing the need for up-to-date equipment and efficient operations, he commissioned Treadway Equipped to implement an equipment upgrade schedule and assist him with financing, setting the foundation for a successful venture.
Expansion to Te Aro

In early 2024, Harminder expanded his business by opening a second shop in Te Aro, Wellington.
To help maximise the work station and ensure efficient workflows, Treadway Equipped helped with the expansion by preparing detailed layout plans and CAD drawings, as well as furnishing the new shop with the appropriate equipment:

Despite the logistical challenges of delivering equipment to a narrow one-lane street in Wellington city, the supply, delivery and installation were completed seamlessly.
Upgrading Island Bay

In November, Treadway Equipped further supported Harminder's original shop in Island Bay by installing a new Beissbarth Q.lign Wheel Aligner.
With no trolley and no post, the Beissbarth Q.Lign wheel aligner helps optimise the space in Harminder’s shop while providing additional service to his customers.
